PROLOGUE. COME OUT OF HIDING.
To the kingdom creative. Thank you for joining the journey.
This took over six years.
In 2018, I started what was then meant to be just a clothing brand called As It Is In Heaven. I shut it down in 2019 because I knew there was more in it than I'd built. I called the next six years reconstruction. Some of it was. A lot of it was hiding. A lot of it was running.
Some would say I'm a perfectionist. My therapist would say I'm dictated by the fragility of an inner child. Whatever the diagnosis is, it's the kind that'll let God dreams sit on a shelf for half a decade because the version in my head won't match what my hands can make.
It's funny really. Needing things to be exactly how we want them to be is really just our very nature's way of normalizing our desire to be the God we say we trust. Oh how very human of us, to aggrandize our 5 loaves and 2 fish as if it in and of itself could ever be enough. And while we whittle away, the Christ and a crowd are waiting for what you had all along. For Him to do what was always up to Him to do with it. For His glory alone.
So here we are.
Not perfected and ready. Available and submitted. All we have is all we need. All He has is all we'll ever need.
This is a clarion call to every son and daughter carrying a God dream. The kingdom creative.
here: as it is® is a creative house built for the kingdom creative. The artist, the writer, the designer, the builder, the maker whose work is a vehicle for what God wants put into the earth. The heaven given dream you're not sure you're qualified for. We exist for the ones that God dreams through.
Genesis 1 shows us creativity is how God solves the void. We believe creativity is still how He does it. Through us.
Vision: a heaven's ideas company. Mission: establish atmosphere.
We're soft launching with two hats. Halos 2.0 and Orlando. Both rebuilt from the 2018 burden. Same prayer. On earth as it is in heaven, starting where I am.
I want to be honest. This is not how I would do this. The strategy isn't right. The timing isn't ideal. There are a hundred ways this could be more polished, more profitable, more impressive. But this isn't about strategy. This is about obedience. I choose to take the imperfect step God told me to take rather than wait around for the perfect version He never asked for.
If you're sitting on a God dream, this letter isn't about a soft launch. It's about the step. Whatever you're carrying, whatever you've been waiting to start, whatever version you've been building in your head for years, this is your sign. The first step won't be perfect. Mine isn't. Neither will the steps after that. None of them will be. It won't be perfect, but it'll be glory. So take it anyway.
